Bluehost Offers Free CDN Using CloudFlare

What is a CDN Cloudflare ?

Cloudflare serves as a proxy between your visitors and our server. Caching static material for your site reduces queries to our servers while still enabling visitors access.

What is BlueHost and CloudFlare integration and why should you utilise it?

CloudFlare is one of the most prominent cloud-based free CDN services, and it not only helps to speed up your site, but it also helps to keep your site safe from hackers and other threats. When it comes to WordPress blogs, you can utilise the CloudFlare service for free, but the BlueHost and CloudFlare Integration in cPanel will make the entire procedure much simpler for sites hosted on BlueHost.

CloudFlare provides 14 free datacenters for CDN, which means that your site will be served extremely quickly because users will be able to access it from the datacenter that is closest to their browsing region. Along with this, CloudFlare prevents spam bots from accessing your site and prompts you to complete a captcha challenge if your website is reached by a spam I.P. or crawler. This will also assist in minimising the strain on the server and preserving the resources available on your website.

When it comes to CloudFlare, if you are unfamiliar with it and are unsure whether you should use it or not, the image below explains what occurs when you combine CloudFlare with your website. To learn more about CloudFlare, you can also watch the following introduction video:

In conjunction with Bluehost, you will receive a free CloudFlare basic plan, and if you choose, you may upgrade to any of the pro plans, which include a variety of additional services. The following are the features that you will be able to take use of with your free CloudFlare account with BlueHost:

  • Global CDN (total of 14 data centres): This can assist in faster loading of your site, as your site will be provided from data servers that are closest to the reader’s geographical location.
  • Theft protection that is intelligent.
  • Loading of Javascript in an asynchronous manner (Rocket Loader).
  • Performance and security statistics are updated on a daily basis.
  • There are three page-specific rules.

CloudFlare may be easily installed on BlueHost using the cPanel interface. Your BlueHost cPanel contains CloudFlare configuration options, which can be found under Domains.

You can easily setup CloudFlare on BlueHost from cPanel. You an find CloudFlare settings under Domains in your BlueHost cPanel.
